With the support of EIG, Bluehost managed to substantially grow their once small team to 750 members.
Endurance International Group (EIG) acquired them in 2010. Suhaib Zaheer became the CEO in 2017. That same year, EIG announced layoffs of over 400 people and a shuttering of Bluehost’s Orem, Utah office.
HostGator is also owned by the same company — Endurance International Group (EIG). EIG is a bit of a powerhouse and also owns various other providers.
The Indian-based Endurance International Group (EIG) owns Bluehost India. Bluehost India is a dedicated version of Bluehost for Indian users but with a different domain extension.
